NOBLE YARNS®

From land to luxury, stewards of noble fibres

NOBLE FOR A REASON

Noble (adjective)

  • Having high moral qualities or ideals; honourable, principled, ethically grounded.

  • Of superior quality, rarity and refined distinction.

  • Rooted in dignity, stewardship and enduring value.

Historically, the term noble has been used to describe materials valued for their rarity, stability and exceptional qualities.

Today, luxury is measured not only by the rarity of a material, but by the integrity of the systems that bring it into the world.

WHY WE EXIST

Luxury begins at the source.

Some of the world’s most extraordinary natural materials originate in mountain landscapes stewarded by nomadic communities.

They are the custodians of unique plants, animals, cultural heritage and traditional knowledge.

Noble Yarns connects unique natural materials with luxury brands, where stewardship of provenance and cultural heritage is rewarded.

THE NOBLE YARNS® MARK

A MARK OF INTEGRITY. A SYSTEM OF IMPACT.

The Noble Yarns® mark represents culturally significant materials produced through stewardship, heritage craftsmanship, provenance and long-term partnerships.

Behind the mark is the Noble Yarns® System – a proprietary system delivering impact to people, planet and animals.

Working with designers and brands, indigenous natural materials unique to pastoral communities responsibly enter global markets with integrity.

WHO WE ARE

Noble Yarns is the legal steward of the Noble Yarns® mark.

From source to consumer, we’re a global collective of indigenous pastoral communities, producer organisations, conservationists, material scientists, creatives and heritage manufacturers, working together to create responsible value chains around exceptional natural materials.
